School will never be the same now that Da Skew Boi (pronounced school boy) has enrolled into Hip Hop University. Born & Raised in East Austin, TX. Douglas George Jr. a.k.a. Da Skew Boi had to overcome the struggle of growing up without a father figure, after his parents divorced at the age of 8. Dealing with this at such a young age, he learned to express his feelings through music and poetry. Being raised by a single parent and his father on drugs he came to the conclusion that music was his only way out. Da Skew Boi was introduced to music at a very young age. His uncle played keyboard for multiple bands and is also a very close friend of producer Salih Williams of Carnival Beats (produced such songs as Big Moe - Purple Stuff & Bar Baby, and Mike Jones – My ’64.) Da Skew Boi first stepped to the mic back in 2001, when he recorded his first single called “Fuck That” with fellow local artist Fire Ball and Fella.

Giving up rapping for about 4 years Skew Boi decided to give it another chance by joining Above All Entertainment. CEO of Above All Entertainment , CheckMate stated “Dedication and focus to do what’s necessary to improve as an artist overall is the reason I signed him (Da Skew Boi).” Da Skew Boi is still afilliated with AAE, but he is doing his own thing at this current time. Da Skew Boi has been in the studio working hard to improve as an artist. He was recently featured on the mixtape named “A’s Down Tell’em Look!” released in 2007 which did fairly nice numbers on datpiff.com . He Currently has two mixtapes from the Back 2 Skew MixTape Series released, “Class In Session” which has done 1,424 Downloads & 1,726 Listens and counting on thatcrack.com and “Out 4 Da Summa” the non DJ mixed version has done 1,529 Downloads & 1,806 Listens and counting on thatcrack.com. He also has a song featured on Between the Sheets Vol 4 Hosted by DJ Sapo which has done 1,468 Downloads & 1,580 Listens and counting on thatcrack.com. These Mixtape’s feature such artist as Quez and Qurious of Qurious Productions, also Fella and Slim of Yea Boi Entertainment, and Pro M.E.T.H. & Yung Yoda of StarHott Entertainment. With tracks produced by Stizzar of Stizzar Productions, Qurious of Qurious Productions and Da New KiD.
