In 2004 Potroast and Bulletproof exploded onto the scene after a chance and unlikely meeting with Austin rapper Gutta. Gutta was in the process of working on the ground breaking single "Mindframe" when he was approached by 2 rappers claiming to be the truth. Gutta being the open minded individual he is gave them an opportunity. He had the 2 rappers rap on a skit before track, Gutta found their rap style to be dangerously similar to the rap style that he was attacking in the track and instantly was unimpressed and ultimately used it as the example of the rap he was opposed to. Though not exactly a success working with Gutta the skit became an instant classic to those who heard it, and Potroast and Bulletproof's popularity became rampant. Pot and Bullet started working on their own project and recorded some tracks together but due to the high demand of each of them and the 2 completely different styles they had they started doing business and recording tracks on their own. Both were fine with the idea of individual work and still repped each other very highly, things were looking up for the rappers. Potroast was blowing up for his signature high pitch emphasis on phrases while Bulletproof's gruff in your face rap was equally popular as well as his side business selling Luling saugage. Things came to a head when an incident happened while Pot and Bullet were out with each other, tearing apart the rappers friendship. The incident is still a mystery as the 2 had different stories of what went on that night that resulted in Potroast being shot by Bulletproof. This incident fueled a heated rivalry and many songs being made going at each other. The 2 rappers have since been very scarce to the rap scene, until now...
